Elaine Girot

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Elaine Girot of South Elgin passed away Jan. 7, 2009.

She was born on Sept. 21, 1928, in Chicago, to Ben and Bertha Thorne. She was the beloved wife of Charles "Chick" Girot, a former resident of Muddy.

Survivors include her husband, three children, a stepdaughter, a granddaughter and other family members.

Preceding her in death were her parents; stepson, Stanley Girot; and sister-in-law, Katherine Girot Cline.

Funeral services were held Jan. 12, 2009, in Elgin.

Elaine was a very caring and loving person and will be deeply missed.
