</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Dannie L. Quillman, 65, of 511 Davidson St., Eldorado, died 1:05 a.m. Monday, Jan. 5, 2009, at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.

Services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, 2009, at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado with the Rev. Bob Murray officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009, at the funeral home.

He was born May 7, 1943, in Eldorado to Dan L. and Esther (Turner) Quillman. On Oct. 8, 2004, he married the former Peggy Bruce, who survives in Eldorado.

He was an accountant, a member of Lighthouse Tabernacle Church and a retired dispatcher for the Eldorado Police Department.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a stepson, Dean Hutcheson of Raleigh; three stepdaughters, Sarah Davenport of Raleigh, Hona Griffin of Raleigh and Sharon Hutcheson of Eldorado; two sisters, Dorothy (Bob) Cox and Ruby (Bob) Patrick, both of Eldorado; several nieces and nephews; nine stepgrandchildren; and three great-stepgrandchildren.
