Services were held 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 5, 2009, at Hosick Funeral Home in Rosiclare with the Rev. Steve Jackson officiating. Burial was at Rose Cemetery in rural Herod. Visitation was 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4, 2009, at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife, June "Rose" Jackson; four sons; three daughters-in-law; three daughters; three sons-in-law; a brother; a sister-in-law; a sister; 14 grandchildren; and several great- and great-great-grandchildren.
