Edna Morris
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mrs. Edna Morris, 100, resident of Ridgway Manor Nursing Home, Ridgway, passed away at 7:13 a.m. Friday, Jan. 2, 2009 at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.
She was the widow of Claude Morris.
Edna was born in Norris City on May 30, 1908, the daughter of the late William and Ella (Little) Prince.
She was a member of the Junction Missionary Baptist Church.
She worked as a homemaker.
Edna is survived by a son, John, husband of Grace Morris of Eldorado.
In addition to her son, she is survived by three grandchildren, Lindale (Cindy) Morris of Harrisburg, Karen (Dean) Stucker of Galatia and Beverly (Mart) Watson of Eldorado; six great-grandchildren, Dennis Watson, Tammy Davis, Brian Morris, Sherrie Morris, Nate Morris and Kevin Stucker; numerous great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by five sisters and four brothers.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4, 2009 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home, Eldorado, with the Rev. Roy Dale Orr officiating. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery near Broughton.
