Patsy F. 'Pat' Medlin

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Patsy F. "Pat" Medlin, 63, of Dongola, died at 6:42 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008, at Union County Long Term Care Facility in Anna.

She was born on Sept. 2, 1945, to Delmas C. and Fern I. (Schluter) McIntosh. She married Ronnie J. Medlin on June 15, 1963, in the First Lutheran Church in Dongola. He survives her.

She was a life member of the First Lutheran Church of Dongola. She worked for many years as a medical secretary for Doctor William H. Whiting of Anna. After Dr. Whiting's retirement, Pat was employed for a short time at Shawnee Community College and also the First State Bank of Dongola until her illness forced her to retire.

She is survived by her husband, Ronnie of Dongola; three daughters, Rhonna C. Medlin of Dongola, Amie K. Ury of Anna and Amanda J. (James T.) Barnes of Benton, Ky.; one granddaughter, Aniston J. Barnes of Benton, Ky.; one sister, Judy (Don) Riggin of Herrin; one brother, Mike (Debbie) McIntosh of Harrisburg; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services for Patsy F. Medlin will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008, at the First Lutheran Church of Dongola with the Rev. Timothy Heinecke officiating. Interment will be in Christian Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be held after 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12, 2008, at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola and after 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008, at First Lutheran Church in Dongola.

Memorials may be made to the First Lutheran Church of Dongola and will be accepted at the funeral home.
