</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Michael Houser, 45, of 6898 U.S. Route 45 South, Carrier Mills, died 1:15 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, 2008, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008, at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills with the Rev. Joey Dunning officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery. Visitation is 11 a.m. to service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
He was born on April 3, 1963, in Southerland, Neb., to Martin and Lois (Lavaley) Houser. He married the former Lynda Turner on Sept. 7, 1985.
He was a cable technician for Galaxy Cable. He was a member of the Carrier Mills Fire Department, the First United Methodist Church in Carrier Mills and was active in the Carrier Mills Boy Scouts.
He is survived by his wife, Lynda Houser of Carrier Mills; his parents, Martin and Lois Houser of Newburgh, Ind.; three children, David (Becka) Houser of Harrisburg, Nicole Houser and Nathan Houser, both of Carrier Mills; a brother, Trent Houser of Evansville, Ind.; a sister, Shelly (Ross) Bond of Evansville, Ind.; two nephews, Maurice and Austin Embry of Evansville, Ind.; and mother- and father-in-law, Zada and George Turner of Galatia.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Carrier Mills Fire Department or to the family and may be left at the funeral home.
