</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[John H. Stuby, 59, of Harrisburg, died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2008, at his residence.
Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008, at Good Hope Cemetery in Karbers Ridge with the Rev. Don Puckett officiating. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, 2008, at Earl Jones Funeral Home in Equality.
He was born Aug. 14, 1949, in Harrisburg to Harry and Mary Ellen (Quade) Stuby.
He was a coal miner for over 20 years at Wabash Mine near Keensburg. John was an avid fisherman, hunter and a proud grandfather.
He is survived by a son, Jeremy (Brenda) Stuby of Junction; two stepsons, Ben Newton and Ronald Horton, both of Harrisburg; two stepdaughters, Kristina Newton and Cheree Horton both of Harrisburg; four grandchildren Jake Stuby, Andrea Stuby, Brocton Mitchell and Isaac Newton; a sister, Sue Keith of Harrisburg; half-brother, Don Stuby of Harrisburg; half-sister, Norma Jean Zimmer; special friend, Kathy Newton of Harrisburg; and a family friend, Mary Kay Walls of Harrisburg.
