She most recently resided in Findlay, Ohio; previously residing in Southgate, Mich. and Eldorado.

Loving daughter of the late John Barton and Mabel Barton Little. Beloved wife of the late John L. Loving; mother of Kathleen (Daniel) Smith; the late Douglas; Cheryl (James) McVey; Deborah Lepo; Betty Murphy; Laura (William) Fleming; and Roy (Malinda) Murphy. Beloved grandma/nana of 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Loving sister of Norma Patterson and eight other late siblings. Beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews.

She was born in Eldorado on March 18, 1927. She attended Southern Illinois University before marrying John on Dec. 8, 1946. They moved to the Detroit, Mich., area in 1952. She resided in Michigan until 2004 when she moved to Findlay, Ohio.

Visitation from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2008 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home, 700 Fourth St., Eldorado, Ill. 62930, www.colonialterracefuneralhome.com.
