</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Wayne A. Knight, 82, of rural Broughton, died 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital, McLeansboro.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008, at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. Ernie Essary officiating. Burial will be in Digby Hill Cemetery near Dale. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31, 2008, at funeral home with Masonic services 7 p.m. by the Walpole-Tuscan Lodge No. 630.

He is survived by his wife, the former Dorothy Mae Essary; a son; a daughter-in-law; three grandchildren and their spouses; five brothers; five sisters-in-law; five sisters; and a brother-in-law.
