Debra Ann 'Debbie' Thrasher

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Debra Ann "Debbie" Thrasher, 44, of Harrisburg, passed away at 2:28 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 24, 2008, at her residence in Harrisburg.

Cremation rites were accorded and a family memorial service was held on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008, at Stasi-Grove Funeral Home in Olney.

Debbie was born on July 25, 1964, in Crosby, Minn., the daughter of Hubert and Nomia Ruth (Browning) Mix. She later married Steve Thrasher, who preceded her in death on June 22, 2003.

She was a homemaker, mother and dear friend. She was Baptist by faith and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by a son, David Slaton of Harrisburg; a daughter, Sherrie Thrasher of Harrisburg; stepson, Clint Thrasher and his wife Shelly of Harrisburg; three brothers, James Mix of Crookston, Minn., Tommy Mix and his wife Kathy of Crookston, Minn. and Richard Mix of Lexington, Ky.; two sisters, Bonnie Johnson and her husband Reidus of Mintal, N.D. and Beverly Hudson and her husband Eugene of Shawneetown; a special friend, Tammy Forsythe of Harrisburg; and many uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Thrasher; and both parents, Hubert and Nomia Mix.
