Akaya Marie Cain

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Akaya Marie Cain, 17-day-old infant of Ashley Owens and Timmy Cain of 434 N. Thompson St., Carrier Mills, died 7 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008, at Children's Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

Graveside services will be held noon Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008, at Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills with the Rev. Ownly Williams officiating. Visitation will be held after 10 a.m. Saturday at Felty Funeral Home, Carrier Mills.

She was born on Oct. 12, 2008, at St. Louis, Mo., to Ashley Owens and Timmy Cain.

She is also survived by grandparents, Sandra and Jason Morgan of Marion, Billy and Jeanie Owens of Johnston City, Shannon and H.D. Solomon of Creal Springs and David Cain of Carrier Mills; and great-grandparents, Pam and David Ellis of Pittsburg.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Sue Cain.
