</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Donald Eugene Parish, 76, Clarksville, Tenn., died Friday, Oct. 24, 2008, at Gateway Medical Center.

The funeral was held 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, 2008, at McReynolds-Nave and Larson Chapel in Clarksville with the Rev. Verlon Moore officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation was from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, and from noon until the hour of service Sunday at the funeral home.

He was born Aug. 10, 1932, in Muncie, Ind., son of Theodore Parish and Sarah Yingling Parish.

Mr. Parish was a press room/plate room supervisor at Josten's Printing and attended Hilldale Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley June Parish of Clarksville, Tenn.; sons, Gary Alan (Shirly) Parish of Fairfield, Calif. and Donald Lee (Kathy) Parish of Clarksville, Tenn.; daughters, Sherry Lynn (Harry) Young and Nyra Jo (Stephen) Akins of Clarksville, Tenn.; sister, Marie Kershner of Muncie, Ind.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers were Brian, Brad, Scott, Paul and Brent Steinsultz and Brent Headland.
