Adah Fern (Tucker) Corn

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Adah Fern (Tucker) Corn, 86, of Broughton, passed away 3:40 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27, 2008 at the Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro.

She was born Jan. 16, 1922, in Hamilton County to Thomas A. Tucker and Della (Pemberton) Tucker. She was married to Lee Corn on July 25, 1990, in Hamburg and he preceded her in death July 17, 2004.

She worked as a licensed practical nurse at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home and also the Hamilton Memorial Nursing Center before retiring. She also was in the Coast Guard Women's Reserve. She was a member of the Hebron Cumberland Presbyterian Church, White Shrine, Eastern Star and Hamilton County Home Extension.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda (Thomas) Weisenburger of Broughton; three grandchildren, Jeremy Randolph, Chaurda and Brittany Wiesenberger; one great-grandchild, Talon Randolph; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Loren and Dallas Tucker; and two sisters, Mildred and Stella.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31 2008, at the Sloan Funeral Home, Galatia, with visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008, at the funeral home. John Wooldridge and the Rev. Mike Fields will be officiating. Burial will be in the Hebron Cemetery, Broughton. Memorials may be made to Hebron Cemetery.
