Betty R. Griffin

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Betty R. Griffin, 83, of Paducah, Ky., formerly of Eldorado, died at 4:48 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, at her home.

Mrs. Griffin was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include six sons, James R. Griffin of Central City, Ky., Jerry Griffin, Ralph Griffin and Kenneth M. Griffin, all of Creal Springs, and Vernon Griffin and Raymond Griffin, both of Aurora; two daughters, Patricia S. Drysdale of Nipomo, Calif. and Mary F. Harper of Paducah, Ky.; one brother, Teddy Baker of Marion; one sister, Wanda Riley of Marion; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernie Morris Griffin; one son, Will Griffin; one grandson; and one great-grandson. Her parents were Clarence R. and Jane L. Baker.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2008, at Lindale Memorial Gardens in Eldorado with the Rev. Tim Ozment officiating.

Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado is in charge of local arrangements.
