Margaret Maxine Vickers

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Margaret Maxine Vickers, 84, of 519 Second St., Omaha, passed away 6:15 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, 2008, at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.

She was born in Omaha on Dec. 3, 1923, to Charles and Wilma (Keasler) Patton. Maxine married Cecil L. Vickers on May 11, 1942, in Cape Girardeau, Mo. Cecil preceded her in death on July 5, 1977.

She is survived by three daughters, Judy and Wayne Whipple of Omaha, Kathy Hughes of Broughton and Tammy and Dannie Shaw of Gossett; one son, David and Janet Vickers of Omaha; one sister, Imogene Koehler of Springfield; one brother, the Rev. Joe and Wilma Patton of Omaha; 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents; husband; her sister, Virginia Tarrant; and brother, J.C. Patton.

Visitation for Maxine will be held from 10 a.m. to service time at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008, at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Omaha. Her brother, the Rev. Joe Patton, will be officiating the service. Burial will follow the service at Bethlehem Cemetery near Omaha.
