Wanda J. (Hathaway) Eubanks

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Wanda J. (Hathaway) Eubanks, 69, of Lockport, passed away on Monday, Oct. 13, 2008 at her home in Lockport.

Wanda was born on Oct. 29, 1938, in Harrisburg to the late John Woodrow and Bessie Marie (Meachum) Hathaway. She was married to Edward Eubanks, who survives.

She is a longtime member of the St. John Vianney Church in Lockport where she served as a Eucharistic minister. She was a longtime employee of Milne Grove School serving as a lunch lady. Wanda retired from Mother Theresa Nursing Home in Lemont in 1996.

She is survived by her loving family, husband, Edward Eubanks; son, David (Mary) Eubanks; daughter, Ronda Eubanks; siblings, Sue Hathaway, Alberta Hathaway, Bob (Brenda) Hathaway, Jessie (Cindy) Hathaway, Diane (Rick) Dempsey and Debbie (Chuck) Drone; grandchildren, Michelle Eubanks, Steven Hathaway, Meagan Larson and Keith Schranz; sisters-in-law, Connie Hathaway and Carolyn Hathaway; a special niece, Robin Aggen; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; children, Glenn Keith Jennings, Dennis Ray Eubanks and John Douglas Eubanks; and siblings, Billy and Jerry Hathaway.

The family will receive friends in Lockport from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008, and Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, 2008, at the St. John Vianney Church in Lockport. The family will then receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, 2008, at the Cox and Son Funeral Home in Ridgway and a service will follow at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008, at the funeral home with interment at Jackson Cemetery in Ridgway.

The family asks, in lieu of flowers, that memorials be made to the Jackson Cemetery. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
