Donna Jean Yother

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Donna Jean Yother, 69, a resident of Saline Care Center, died 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008, at her residence.

Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 17, 2008, at Liberty Cemetery in Harrisburg with the Rev. Larry Robertson officiating. There will be no visitation; those attending should go directly to the cemetery. Arrangements are in the charge of Gaskins-Jones Funeral Home, Harrisburg.

She was born Aug. 12, 1939, in Harrisburg to George and Daisy (Bowman) Stevers. On Feb. 27, 1971, she married Donald Ray Yother, who preceded her in death on April 18, 1981.

She was a homemaker and Baptist by faith.

She is survived by two daughters, Fonda (Terry) Vailes of Eldorado and Rhonda Yother of Harrisburg; a son, Donald (Dezarae) Yother of New Berlin, N.Y.; six granddaughters, Twila Meredith of Galatia, Terra Vailes of Galatia, Tisha (Jonathan) Fann of Harrisburg, Tracie Vailes of Eldorado, D'lisa Yother of Harrisburg, Ashley Yother of Golconda; eight grandsons, Justin Yother of New Berlin, N.Y., Terry Vailes of Eldorado, Travis Vaughn of Golconda, Ryan Yother of Golconda and Timothy Winn, Madison Yother, Preston Hopkins and Duran Hopkins, all of Harrisburg; three great-grandsons, Jonathan Meredith, Keyton Vailes and Dalton Holland, all of Galatia; two great-granddaughters, Maryaha Fann and Glendayn Fann, both of Harrisburg; a brother, Roy Stevers of Harrisburg; four sisters, Romain Walker of Harrisburg, Dean Lemaster of Elgin, Betty Lemaster of Elgin and Joyce Hodge of Elgin; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Jerome, Bill and John Stevers; and two grandchildren, Lyndel Haney and Cory Moore.
