</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Howard Boyer Jr., 80, of McLeansboro, died 3:45 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008, at his residence.

The body has been cremated. A memorial visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008, at Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. Robert Sefried officiating. Burial of the cremains will be in Concord Cemetery.

He is survived by a sister, brother and two nieces.
