Helen Rekau

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Helen Rekau, 69, of Broughton, passed away at 3:07 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2008, at Columbia Healthcare in Evansville, Ind.

She was born March 17, 1939, in Eldorado, the daughter of Cecil Milton and Mary Frances (Prehara) Huffstutler.

She married Dale Allen Rekau on Jan. 27, 1981, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 12, 2000.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Kelye Davis of Broughton; four stepdaughters, Michelle Rekau of Steger, Nadine Klusacek of Red Wood City, Calif., Angela Mullen of Chicago Heights and Kathy Rekau of Moorehead, Minn.; 14 grandchildren, including Nicholas Davis of Chicago; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Helen Rekau, 69, of Broughton, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008, at the Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City. Burial will be at Mt. Oval Cemetery in Norris City. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, 2008, at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City.
