</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mary Cotter, 95, of Dewey Street, Eldorado, died Thursday, Sept. 18, 2008, at Fountain View Nursing Home, Eldorado.

Services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008, at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado with Dennis Robison officiating. Burial will be in Hebron Cemetery, Walpole. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008, at the funeral home.

She was born Aug. 1, 1913, in South Twigg Township of Hamilton County to John C. and Hattie Mae (Gray) Williams. On Dec. 5, 1936, she married Luther Cotter, who preceded her in death on March 18, 1969.

She graduated Eldorado High School in 1932 and was a homemaker. She had been a member of Hebron Cumberland Presbyterian Church since 13 years of age. She was past president of District No. 29 of Rebekah Lodge and previously of American Legion Auxiliary and Home Extension Bixler Unit. She attended First Baptist Church in Eldorado for many years and joined First Christian Church on Sept. 26, 2004, where she was a member.

She is survived by a nephew, Ed (Shannon) Cotter; a niece, Jenna Joy Tasso of Florida; a great-niece, Monica Marie; and two great-nephews, Nathan and John Ross.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ross and Alan Ray; and a sister, Monnie Williams.
