Jerry A. Musgraves

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Jerry A. Musgraves, 46, rural resident of Norris City, passed away Sunday, Sept. 14, 2008, suddenly at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.

Jerry was born in Carmi, Aug. 10, 1962, to the late John Musgraves and Anna (Abbott) Flowers, who survives. Jerry worked in construction and the oil fields.

He loved to go four-wheel riding, hunting, fishing, and be around his family and friends. He was a good father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be greatly missed by the community.

Survivors include his mother, Anna Flowers of Norris City; a son, Jeremy (Ashton) Musgraves of Ledford; a daughter, Holly Musgraves of Brownsville; two grandchildren, Abigayle and Jalei Musgraves; two brothers, Gary (Brenda) Musgraves and Ricky (Tammy) Musgraves, both of Norris City; and a sister, Donna (Lyndon) Sanders of Norris City.

He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.

Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2008, at Cox and Son Funeral Home in New Haven. Funeral is 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2008, at the funeral home with the Rev. Sonny Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Union Ridge Cemetery, New Haven.
