</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Helen Hardy, 77, 1102 State St., Eldorado, died Friday, Sept. 5, 2008 at Harrisburg Medical Center.

Services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 8, 2008 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Fr. Ignatius Okonkwo officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home with prayer service at 7 p.m.

She was born Oct. 14, 1930 in Mount Vernon to the late William Frank and Clara Hook Bakel. She married Warren Hardy, who preceded her in death Dec. 13, 2003.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

She is survived by four sons, Warren David (Linoa) Hardy III of Ina, Mark William (Cindy) Hardy of Portland, Ore., Kenneth Lee (Susan) Hardy of Colorado Springs, Colo. and James Allen Hardy of Eldorado; one daughter, Michelle Elaine (Joseph) Rhodes of Norris City; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Maria Annette Hardy; and one grandchild.
