Geneva 'Ruth' Gobin

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Geneva "Ruth" Gobin, 87, of Portage, Ind., passed away on Aug. 31, 2008.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God in Portage, Ind.

She is survived by two sons, Gary (Karen) Gobin of South Carolina and Mike (Loretta) Gobin of Chesterton, Ind.; seven grandchildren, Skip (Stella) Gobin, Dawn (Carl) Apostoloff, Shelly Cozad, Michael Gobin Jr., Kimberly Prusynski, David (Cheri) Gobin and David (DeeDee) Malott; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Irene Boner; son, Phillip Gobin; daughter, Shirley Woolard; and husband, William L. Gobin.

Funeral services will be 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008, at Kraft Funeral Services and Crematory, 370 N. County Line Road, Hobart, Ind. Interment will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008, at Raleigh Masonic Cemetery.

Friends are invited to meet with the family from 2 p.m. to time of service Thursday.
