Stacy (Butler) Girot

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Stacy (Butler) Girot, 55, of Galatia, died 1:05 a.m. Monday, Aug. 25, 2008, at Harrisburg Medical Center.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008, at Sloan Funeral Home in Galatia with Dr. Harrison Peyton officiating. Burial will be in Durham Cemetery. Visitation is 9 a.m. to service time Thursday at the funeral home.

She was born Dec. 24, 1952, in Joliet to the late Robert and Betty (Lockwood) Butler. On July 10, 1998, she married Mike Girot in Galatia.

She was a social coordinator at the Saline Care Nursing Home and a member of Galatia Methodist Church.

She is survived by a son, Isiah Yackle of Jacksonville; a daughter, Kellie (Joel) Dupre of Jacksonville; two brothers, John (Lisa) Butler of Ashland and Gary (Mary) Butler of Girard; and a grandchild, Coltyn Dupre.
