Larry W. Cofield

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Larry W. Cofield, 77, died Sunday, Aug. 10, 2008, at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, Ind.

He was born May 29, 1931, in Carrier Mills.

He was employed at the General Motors Foundry in Tilton. He was a Korean War veteran. In the 1980s, he joined the Vermilion County Sheriff's Department, retiring from there in the mid-1990s.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene Cofield of Danville; stepmother, Jewel Cofield of Harrisburg; brother, Cecil (Aubin) Cofield of Suisun City, Calif.; sister, Lois (Cecil) Williams of Harrisburg; daughter, Teri (Theodore) Holmes of Detroit, Mich.; stepchildren; grandchildren; and friends.

He will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard F. Cofield and Iva Allen Cofield.

Arrangements are in the charge of Leek and Sons Funeral Home, Danville.
