Ruth M. Brown
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mrs. Ruth M. Brown, 90, passed away at 3:25 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008, at Fountainview Nursing Home.
She was the widow of Herschel Brown.
Ruth was born in Harrisburg on April 9, 1918, the daughter of the late James L. and Edith J. (Jones) Shover.
She was a member of McKinley Avenue Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.
Ruth is survived by a daughter, Sara Jo (Curt) Healy of Eldorado.
She is also survived by a granddaughter, Natalie Williams of Harrisburg; a great-grandchild, Kaleb Williams of Eldorado; several nieces and nephews; and two special nephews, Jimmy Jack Sisk and George Sisk. Ruth is also survived by two brothers, Bill Shover of Harrisburg and Glenn Shover of Franklin, Tenn.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by siblings, Richard Shover, Eldon Shover, Therle Shover, Loren Shover, Bernice Womack, Della Womack, Bonnie Sisk and two infants.
Funeral services will be held at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home at 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 11, 2008, with the Rev. Dennis Vaughn officiating. A private burial has been scheduled. Friends may call 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11, 2008, at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home.
