</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Services for Darryl Sittig, 40, of Kirksey, Ky., will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8, 2008, at Churchill-Imes Family Funeral Home in Murray, Ky. Burial will be in Kirksey Cemetery.
Mr. Sittig died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008, in Graves County.
He was born Aug. 22, 1967. On March 2, 1994, he married the former Mandi Outland, who survives.
He was a member of Kirksey Baptist Church. He was an engineering supervisor at West Kentucky Rural Telephone. He served as a deacon and treasurer at Kirksey Baptist Church. He received his master's degree in telecommunications from Murray State.
He is survived by his wife, Mandi Outland Sittig; two sons, Nathan Sittig and Noah Sittig, both of Kirksey, Ky.; his parents, Gene and Boenita Patterson Sittig of Raleigh; one brother, Drew Sittig of Lynchburg, Va.; his grandparents, Vola L. Sittig and Laverne Sittig of Eldorado; parents-in-law, Kenny and Judy Outland of Kirksey, Ky.; and grandmother-in-law, Hazel Jones of Murray, Ky.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenneth Patterson and Susie Soper.
Friends may call 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008, at the funeral home.
