</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Ruth E. Culpepper, 85, of McLeansboro, died 12:55 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008, at her residence.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008, at Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. Alta Culpepper officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8, 2008, at the funeral home.

She is survived by her husband, John Culpepper; daughter; son-in-law; four grandchildren; two brothers; a sister-in-law; and numerous special nieces and nephews.
