Naomi Sue Sinks

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Naomi Sue Sinks, 68, of Benton, died at 3 a.m. Monday, Aug. 4, 2008, at her home.

Mrs. Sinks was born on June 26, 1940, in Eldorado, the daughter of Thomas Perry Tapp and Naomi Bernice (Cox) Tapp. She married Calvin Sinks on Jan. 2, 1958, and he survives.

She was a retired registered nurse, a homemaker and a grandma.

Surviving relatives include her husband, Calvin Sinks of Benton; and six children, Nonie and Ed Dennison of Ridgway, Diana Barnett of Zeigler, Lee and Missy Sinks of Benton, J.T. and Naomi Sinks of Clarksville, Tenn., Phillip and Brenda Sinks of Weldon and Karen and Jamie Moore of Eldorado; special daughter, Rose Grunert of West Frankfort; one sister, Barbara Colbert of Benton; 22 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Sinks was preceded in death by her parents.

There will be no services. Arrangements are in the charge of Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home, Benton.
