Anna Pearson

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Anna Pearson, 92, of the Ledford community, died 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at her home.

She was born Feb. 17, 1916, in Saline County to Mike Banevich and Gertrude Malioukia Banevich. She married Joseph Pearson, who preceded her in death on Feb. 19, 1967.

She is survived by a daughter, JoAnn Mickley of Gilbert, Ariz.; and a son, Gerald Pearson of Ledford.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, David Pearson; brothers, Joe and Mike Banevich; and sisters, Frances Hendry, Nancy Popa and Beatrice Symons.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, July 25, 2008, at Absher-Nicholson Funeral Home in Carrier Mills with the Rev. Ownly Williams officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery. Visitation is 9 a.m. to service time Friday at the funeral home.
