Imogene Bradley
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Imogene Bradley, 83, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2008, at Rosiclare Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
Jean was born in Johnson County on July 4, 1925, the second of six children, to the late Samuel S. and Blanche Marie (Vinson) Harris.
Jean lived most of her life in Raleigh. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Social Brethren Church and worked for several years at McDonald Hatchery. She and her husband Jim also had a small greenhouse in earlier years and grew garden plants and flowers.
She was a devoted mother to her two daughters, Judy (Reid) Smith (husband Ron Smith) of Eldorado and Sue (Reid) Reiniche (husband Terry Reiniche) of Chattanooga, Tenn.
She is also survived by her four grandsons, Brent Smith and Shawn Smith and Darren (Kristi) Reiniche and Damein Reiniche; five great-grandchildren, Cooper, Mason, Gavin, Gracelyn and Evan Reiniche; two sisters, Anna Mae Cutrell and Virginia (Charles) Malone; two brothers, Sam (Alma Jean) Harris and Bill (Gail) Harris; and several nieces and nephews.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gilbert "Jim" Bradley in 1998; and her brother, Shelby Harris, in 2002.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at Sloan Funeral Home in Galatia with burial in Masonic Cemetery in Raleigh. Vistiation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at Sloan Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Pleasant Social Brethren Church.
