Terry Ray Beavers

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Terry Ray Beavers, 51, of Harrisburg, passed away at 8:46 p.m. Friday, July 4, 2008, at his residence in Harrisburg.

Terry was born on Dec. 3, 1956, in Eldorado, to Robert and Thelma (Milligan) Beavers Jr. He was raised in Cave-In-Rock. He was a fluorspar miner, coal miner and had worked for Ozark Mahoning Mining Company and American Coal Company. Terry was a an Army veteran, serving in Vietnam. He attended Little Chapel Church and was a member of the American Legion Post No. 167 of Harrisburg.

Terry is survived by two children, Tera Plummer and husband Eric of Piedmont, Mo. and Terry Wayne Beavers and wife Lindsey of Mt. Carmel; father, Robert Beavers and wife Rebecca of Cave-In-Rock; mother, Thelma Robinson and husband Cecil of Harrisburg; grandchildren, Austin, Grant, Eric Jr. and Alexandra Plummer, Tyler and Jada Beavers; brother, Leon Beavers and wife Rita of Paducah, Ky.; sister, Patty McDowell and husband John of Stonefort; nieces and nephews, Chad, Robby, Kimberly, and Daniel Mills and Chris and Joe Beavers; and two great-nieces, Lexie and Makinna.

Funeral services for Terry Ray Beavers will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. The Rev. Larry Lewis will officiate and burial will follow in Ozee Cemetery. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Harrisburg American Legion Post No. 167.
