Joyce Faye Wideman

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mrs. Joyce Faye Wideman, 66, of Eldorado, passed away at 2:38 a.m. Sunday, July 6, 2008, at Deaconess Hospital, Evansville, Ind.

She was the wife of Harry Wideman.

Joyce was born in De Soto, Mo., on Dec. 24, 1941, the daughter of the late Woodrow J. and Lucille Olive (Uhland) Livengood.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Eldorado. She was a homemaker and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the VFW Auxiliary.

Joyce is survived by a daughter, Lisa (John) Courtois of Dixon, Mo.; and two sons, Tony (Kim) Ward of Florence, S.C. and Wesley Wideman of West Frankfort. Joyce is also survived by two sisters, Dorothy Kite of De Soto, Mo. and Ruth (Joe) Coleman of Holt Summit, Mo.; and a brother, Jack (Carolyn) Livengood of Festus, Mo. She is also survived by grandchildren, Jason Phillips, Matthew Phillips, Travis Courtois, Heather Drace, Megan Ward, Brittany Ward, Nicholas Ward, Ashley Wideman, Jake Wideman, Hannah Wideman and Zachariah Wideman; and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Blum.

Funeral services will be held at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home, Eldorado, at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2008, with the Rev. Walter Baker officiating. Friends may call 11 a.m. to service time Tuesday at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto, Mo.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association and left at the funeral home.
