Vietnam vet finally gets name added to In Memory Honor Roll

Every time there was a mail call while William Francis Borowski was serving in Vietnam, he got a letter from his girlfriend, Marilyn Benedetto. The 21-year-olds were in love and wrote to each other every day.

They married in 1967, just months after Borowski, who grew up in Hudson, returned from Vietnam. The couple saved their letters to each other, and those Borowski had sent and received from friends and family.
