Illini's women's track coach to retire

Illinois women's track coach Gary Winckler, a three-time NCAA coach of the year who led the Illini to 11 Big Ten Conference championships, announced Friday he will retire at the end of the school year. Illini associate head coach Tonja Buford-Bailey will take over as head coach after the outdoor season.
