Pickup flips on Rte. 128

A Keyspan pickup truck flipped on its side this morning on Rte. 128, causing serious traffic delays.

Just before 7 a.m., Waltham firefighters responded to the area of Rte. 128 northbound near the Rte. 117 overpass.

According to Deputy Chief Cliff Richardson, a tow truck was already scene when crews arrived and the driver, who was uninjured, had climbed out of the Ford Ranger.

Engines 4 responded to the scene.

Traffic on Rte. 128 northbound was backed up to Rte. 9.
