Illini's Alex Legion: ‘This is the place I want to be'

The last big decision was also the first one made by Illinois freshman guard Alex Legion.

A transfer from Kentucky, Legion practiced with the Illini for the second time Tuesday after enrolling for the spring semester. Illinois is essentially the third school in Legion's brief college career -- and the final option. There's no more time for making another change, so Legion did things differently.
