Man arrested for smoking

Police here may have arrested a man for the first public smoking offense of the new year.

"Being that it was just 30 minutes into the new year, it's in the realm of possibility that this could be the first smoking in public places arrest for 2008," said Detective Chris Bitner of the Pekin Police Department.
