Further defense of the caveman
We don't just defend the caveman, we embrace him. Without cavemen, we'd lose one of the stock characters of TV comedy. Here's a look at some notable cavemen of comedy. Oddly, despite their retro-to-the-max views, they all manage to be strangely lovable. But more importantly, they're all really funny.
Archie Bunker (Carroll O'Connor, "All in the Family")
Why he's a caveman: Archie had a view of politics, women and minorities that was prehistoric.
Caveman quote: "A woman should cleave into her husband. Right here in this house is where Edith's cleavage belongs."
Bluto Blutarsky
(John Belushi, "Animal House")
