Matt Trowbridge: Bears not cursed; they simply made bad moves
The Bears should be the sixth team in seven years to miss the playoffs the year after losing the Super Bowl. That's not a curse.
The Raiders, Giants and Panthers were lucky just to get to a Super Bowl. The Rams were at the end of their three-year Super Bowl window. And the Eagles, despite never being truly dominant, somehow won at least 11 games five years in a row. They were long overdue for a downward dip; this will be their third season in a row with fewer than 11 wins.
