Firefighters foil flight of fugitive

Two firefighters managed to corral a lake-area man who took off on foot across Route 5 in Camdenton late Wednesday afternoon.

The firefighters were on duty at Mid-County Fire Protection District headquarters when a disturbance across the street drew their attention.
