STEALING STEEL: An engineer on a CSX freight train Tuesday afternoon reported suspicious activity along the rail bed near the Freetown-Lakeville line. It turned out to be nothing, but it's an example of how train engineers aren't taking any chances after 200 supporting heavy steel plates were stolen from beneath that rail line earlier this month.
