Mike Fine: Manny and Papi just ‘ridiculous'

Red Sox manager Terry Francona passed up his usual morning routine of heading out for a cup of coffee, a couple of papers and the joys of rush hour traffic because he had other priorities Friday morning.

"I was here by 7:30 today," he said, sitting in his Fenway office about nine hours later. "I had so many things on the periphery that needed to be done."
