<p class="MsoNormal">Different places, different faces<span style=""> </span>

<p class="MsoNormal">Indians General Manager Mark Shapiro and Manager Eric Wedge both said Tuesday that the Indians may make a change to their postseason roster before the ALCS begins. If the team decides to go forward with 10 pitchers instead of 11, outfielder Ben Francisco may replace long reliever Aaron Laffey on the roster.

<p class="MsoNormal">The Schilling shuffle

<p class="MsoNormal">The Red Sox will shuffle their starting pitching rotation a bit, moving veteran right-hander Curt Schilling into the No. 2 spot behind Josh Beckett.

<p class="MsoNormal">That will leave Daisuke Matsuzaka at No. 3 and knuckleballer Tim Wakefield at No. 4. The Indians will likely stick with their original order of C.C. Sabathia, Fausto Carmona, Jake Westbrook and Paul Byrd.

<p class="MsoNormal">A good man

<p class="MsoNormal">New York Manager Joe Torre called Wedge after Game 4 to offer congratulations. Yankees owner George Steinbrenner was quoted as saying Torre would not be asked back for 2008 if his team did not beat the Indians.

<p class="MsoNormal">"For (Torre) to even think about that, much less taking the time, meant the world to me," Wedge said. "Joe Torre should manage as long as he wants to manage. There are only a couple people I can say that about. That's about as plain as I can put it."

<p class="MsoNormal">Darn Yankees

<p class="MsoNormal">The Indians are 8-7 against New York in the postseason. Cleveland is the only postseason opponent (minimum 10 games) against which the Yankees have a losing record.
