Planning Halloween games for kids a scary prospect? Never fear, we've got some ideas!

Each year at Small Miracles Christian Preschool, moms get the opportunity to plan the children's Halloween party. With my fourth (and last) child attending, I'm now helping plan my eighth gathering.

The children always parade around the social hall in their costumes while we videotape and snap photos. They take turns standing on a small step and announcing who or what they are dressed as. They always do a fun craft and have a Halloween treat. (A favorite snack is a plain pumpkin-shaped cutout cookie that they can decorate themselves -- a craft and snack all in one!)
