Turning 30: Generation redefining meaning of age, expectations

It is a longstanding tradition in Denmark to give a pepper mill to people who turn 30 and are not yet married.

For those with more rambunctious friends, that mill sometimes comes in the form of two large - and hard to remove - cement-filled oil drums positioned in their front yard and spray painted with a big 3-0.
