Pam Adams: Local legend's untold story
A book called "Mad Seasons"? has been sitting on the top stack of the stacks on my desk for months now. It's subtitled "The Story of the First Women's Professional Basketball League, 1978-1981" and the author is Karra Porter.
I'd read bits and pieces now and then, but it wasn't particularly interesting, except for the parts that mention Peorian Charlotte Lewis. Those parts were only interesting because they made me curious about Lewis' brief career in the first professional women's basketball league.
