Zogby to hire 150 workers

Polling firm Zogby International is planning to hire at least 150 temporary workers to keep up with fast-paced growth, according to the head of the company.

That growth will likely lead to most of those workers becoming permanent, said John Zogby, chief executive officer and founder of Zogby International.

The 150 jobs are telephone interviewer positions geared toward entry-level workers or those re-entering the work force. They will work on polling projects for the 2008 election year, as well as market research and entertainment projects.

The company also plans to fill four professional positions in its marketing, communications and project administration/editorial departments.

Zogby International has about 200 employees, most of which are in the Utica headquarters at 901 Broad St.
