Admit it: If you're like most Cubs fans, you were bummed two months ago when the team's plan to pay the Florida Marlins to take Jacque Jones failed.

And if you're a Cardinals fan -- or anyone else who loves it when the Lovable Losers lose lovably -- you never gave Jacque Jones a second thought. He was just another bad ballplayer on a bad team.
