Hurricane Deck bridge passes first day of scrutiny

State transportation workers began to scrutinize the Route 5 Hurricane Deck bridge over Lake of the Ozarks on Monday.

The major westside route was reduced to one lane by inspectors who examined the underside of the structure for any signs of unusual wear and tear.
